The area east of Telegraph Avenue, south of the Berkeley city borders, west of the Oakland hills, and north of the Pleasant Valley Avenue/51st Street and Broadway crossroads is known as Rockridge. Money Magazine named Rockridge as one of the "greatest places to live" in 2002.
